R3 : Hana impresses, but Nour in 4…

[1] Nour El Sherbini (EGY) 3-1 Hana Ramadan (EGY)  10-12, 11-3, 11-6, 11-5 (36m)

Hana

I lost my pace a bit in the second game, my length wasn’t accurate enough, and I wasn’t pinning her back as well as I did in the first game.

I tried to get back to that game, but I just couldn’t do it quickly enough.

Nour El Sherbini

“It’s very hard playing Hana, we’re close friends and play at the same club with the same coaches, we play this match once every week. Today was different, but I’m happy with my performance, it was better than yesterday. Hopefully, I am going to keep getting better day after day.

“The level is very hard and anyone can keep anyone in the top 10. We’re all watching, trying to learn and trying to work on the weaknesses of other players.

“They’re both very strong and skilful. Salma has very good hands, Georgina is very positive and good physically, so I’m excited to watch their match.”
